Another New Search Engine
Haven't you ever wished that Google would have a more sensible name that would fit what's it all about? I mean, if you want to find info about your favorite tv show, you go to tv.com, if you want news, you go to news.com, if you want to find cruises, go to cruise.com. I mean, finding a domain name that would best describe your services is what's it all about. I mean a person new to the internet--say, my grandmother, who only knows that websites end with ".com" and what to find or search the internet about something would probably go to www.find.com, so good thing that this domain has been grabbed by an actual search engine and not some porn site, right?
I actually like their motto, "People search, but do they ever really find what they’re looking for? The people? The people need something new. Something revolutionary: They need a Find Engine". LOL. Nice.
I actually like their interface, except for the one vertical banner of Google adsense on the right, it's fairly simple and uncluttered. They actually churned up pretty good results. I tried searching for what is car insurance and instead of websites offering car insurance, I actually got some pretty good answers. Of course, if you're already familiar with Google's search parameters, you won't be able to use them on this site. I guess those who're already familiar with Google can already find what they're looking for but for those still new to the net, you will find that find.com is a refreshing site free of clutter.
