Android 2.1 mobile phones

With the recent announcement that the Samsung Galaxy Spica will now get the official Android 2.1 update, there are now plenty of Android 2.1 mobile phones to choose from. There's the currently popular Google Nexus One, the coming soon HTC Legend, HTC Desire and Xperia X10. 

The Motorola Droid or Milestone is still running the Android 2.0 OS but in the United States, Verizon is slowly rolling out 2.1 updates for their Droid. In Europe, they have yet to get official word on when their Motorola Milestones will get the Android Eclair. So many Android handsets to choose from, which will you choose? The previous Android star of 2009, the HTC Hero has yet to get the official Android 2.1 update. HTC better release that soon as the Hero would soon be overshadowed by the newest Android 2.1 stars of 2010.
